¿Quién puede revisar una instalación de gas en Calpe?

If you need a gas installation checked in Calpe, the right professional to call is an experienced local specialist who can inspect the system, identify faults or safety concerns, and recommend the appropriate next step. 100% Plumbing helps with gas installation checks in Calpe, including systems linked to heating and hot water.

What should you avoid if you smell gas?

Do not turn lights or appliances on or off, do not plug or unplug anything, do not ring a doorbell, do not use your phone inside the property, and do not light matches or smoke. Do not stay inside trying to find the source of the smell, and do not go back in because it smells better.

Who do I call if I smell gas in Spain?

Nedgia gas emergencies on 900 750 750, which operates 24 hours. Call 112, the general emergency number in Spain, if anyone feels unwell or there is immediate danger. Make the call from outside the property.

When is a gas smell especially urgent?

When the smell is strong, when it affects more than one room or area, when anyone feels dizzy, unwell or short of breath, or when there is any risk of fire or explosion. Leave immediately and call from outside.

The smell has gone after ventilating. Is it safe now?

No. A smell that fades after ventilation has been diluted rather than fixed, and the gas is still coming from wherever it was coming from. The installation should be professionally checked before the property returns to normal use.

What happens after the gas emergency service has been?

The gas installation and anything connected to it should be professionally checked, because a smell of gas can point to a leak, a fault in the installation or a problem with a connected appliance such as a boiler or heating system.
